FACTS & FIGURES OF DRY JANUARY 2024

Dry January is coming to an end, and it's been a huge success!

A survey of participants published by Dry January CH shows that almost all (98%) are motivated to drink less alcohol in the future and only a sixth want to end their alcohol break at the end of January. 77% of respondents said they sleep better and 82% have more energy. This is why 3 out of 5 want to continue even with a Dry February.

The motives for taking part in Dry January are very different, as is the feedback showed on social media. Some do it for themselves, “I think Dry January is a good one thing, breaking out of patterns is always exciting" or “I’m driven by curiosity, what happens to my body if I don't drink for a month?". Another participants says "I'm “only” a weekend drinker but unfortunately that often means partying excessively and I also suspect that I am quite addicted to alcohol trivializing it and seeing it as 'normal'". While some do it for others "I do it for my friend, who has it difficult to not drink. I want to be a role model and support him in that".

OUR PART IN DRY JANUARY

From our side, it's been a busy but very exciting month! We successfully hosted an event for barkeepers at Open Ride, our efforts and products were recognized in major publications and our social media presence significantly grew.

We also strengthened our partnerships with many restaurants and bars across Switzerland that created special drink menus with REBELS 0.0%. Additionally, we released the official Dry January cocktail by Dirk Hany, the Apple Whiskey Sour, which was another highlight of the month, receiving a great response from our customers.

And last but not least, we expanded our reach beyond borders and our website in the UK is now available, marking an important step in our growth and expansion strategy.
